Love it. TDD is to me this mysterious approach which seems to be a burden but also makes lots of sense!
However, you're more likely to switch to TDD once you've mastered one of the unit testing libraries and techniques for testing (mocking, patching, parametrizing, etc.). Otherwise it feels like learning two things at once and it might be quite discouraging.
