We overestimate what we can achieve in 1 month but underestimate what we can achieve in 5 years. Consistency and focusing on the right things, even if we work at a natural pace, are what will drive success in the long term.

I have two at the moment. One for finishing my work day and one for when I'm about to start writing some longform.
- The first one is a Shutdown routine, learned from Cal Newport. You can look this up and I will probably write about it soon.
- The second is doing the dishes.
Oh nice - never considered how a standard activity like washing dishes is actually a great ritual action too
It doesn't have to be fancy. It just needs to work.
