Flip Your Schedule, Transform Your Life πβ¨
The life-changing planning strategy that ditches burnout and puts you back in control.
Hooked on the hamster wheel? Same here.
Every Monday, Iβd morph into Tony Robbins: π‘ βThis is my week to dominate!β
By Friday? I was more like a potato. π₯
Emails consumed my soul. Workouts? Ghosted.
And my personal projects? Sitting there like a Netflix subscription you forgot you had.
Then I realized: I wasnβt running my lifeβmy to-do list was.
Big yikes, right?
But hereβs the twist: I swapped my task-based hustle for something called Lifestyle-Centric Planningβand it changed everything.
Letβs break it down so you can reclaim your time, energy, and sanity.
πΏ What Is Lifestyle-Centric Planning?
Itβs like meal-prepping, but for your dream life. π±
Instead of asking, βWhat do I need to get done this week?β
You ask, βWhat kind of life do I want to liveβand how do I schedule around that?β
Itβs about stepping off the hamster wheel and saying:
π¦ΈββοΈ βWhat kind of person am I becoming?β
π‘ βWhatβs the big picture Iβm building?β
π βDoes my calendar match that?β
π‘ Why It Works
One-off productivity hacks are like band-aids on a sinking ship. π’
Lifestyle-Centric Planning fixes the leaks.
π― Aligns with your values: If health, relationships, or creative projects matter most, they go in your schedule first.
π₯ Fights burnout: Rest and play become priorities, not afterthoughts.
π Builds consistency: When your days align with your goals, progress feels effortless.
π¨ How to Get Started
Ready to ditch the chaos? Hereβs your playbook:
Define Your Core Values π§©
Ask yourself: Whatβs non-negotiable in my life?π Health? Schedule workouts.
π¨ Creativity? Block time for hobbies.
𧑠Relationships? Lock in family dinners or date nights.
Create Time Anchors π
These are recurring blocks in your week that never move.π Morning jogs.
π§ βUnplugβ evenings.
π³ Sunday meal prep.
Batch Tasks Around Your Life
π Peak hours? Deep work only.
π§ Shallow work? Group it upβemails, errands, admin.
Audit & Adjust Weekly π
Every week, ask yourself:Did I live according to my values?
What felt off? How can I fix it?
Every Saturday, I plan the week ahead with just a notebook and a coffee.
π Imagine This
Itβs Monday morning. Your schedule isnβt a fire drill. π¨
Instead:
π§ Deep work sessions? Locked in.
π Time for family or hobbies? Protected.
πͺ Workouts? Already planned.
Now compare that to reacting to meetings, emails, and other peopleβs priorities.
Feels better, right?
π Your Challenge
Hereβs how you can join the movement:
Write down 3 core values your life should reflect.
Add one recurring block to your schedule this week that aligns with them. (Think: a 20-min walk, hobby hour, or guilt-free family dinner.)
Commit to it for 7 days.
Then come back and tell me: Whatβs the ONE change you made? π
Letβs make this funβreply with your answers, and Iβll feature the best ones next week. π
Whatβs one change youβll make to plan your week around your life? π

I've snoozed Slack and blocked calendar for mornings. Some unavoidable meetings but this has helped.
Second is I remind myself of how much more joy reading books brings.
Third, giving my mind time to wander. Helped the most.
This is so well done, Alberto! Itβs a great reminder for me to bring more structure into my time. Right now, I tend to fully immerse myself in building AI products and writing about the process whenever I find a spare moment.
I should take a step back and dedicate more time to family and exercise as well. Thanks for the inspiration!
