What I Learned After Trying (and Failing) to Do It All 🤦♂️
The 6-part system that now powers my $1,000/month side hustles.
I do a lot during a normal week, yet I don’t get tired.
Actually, one of the questions I get asked a lot is how I manage to work on so many things and make sustainable progress on all of them.
The secret? I don’t work on so many things.
I work on three things:
My 9-to-5 job as a software engineer.
My Substack newsletters.
My coaching business.
More than that would be unfeasible for me—believe me, I’ve been there.
I have failed before because I was spreading myself too thin.
Yet, if you think working on three things at the same time is too much, you might be doing something wrong.
Maybe you don’t know how to prioritize.
Maybe you are not resting enough.
Or maybe you are ineffective with your time.
Whatever it is, I think I’ve found a system that can help you if you tweak some bits and pieces and tailor it to your specific needs.
This system allows me to:
✅ Crush it at my 9-to-5 job, delivering high-impact results while still making the majority of my income there.
✅ Work consistently on my side projects (Algorithmically Speaking, Code With AI, coaching), generating $1,000+ a month without burning out.
✅ Stay healthy and energized, counteracting the downsides of a sedentary job.
✅ Spend quality time with my family and friends without sacrificing my progress.
And more importantly: I’ve been able to stick with it for the past six months.
